The Man with the Iron Heart, starring Jason Clarke, Rosamund Pike, Jack O’Connell, Jack Reynor, and Mia Wasikowska, is based on a true story.
The movie depicts the WW2 Czech resistance fighters that killed Reinhard Heydrich, the SS General and mastermind of the Holocaust. Heydrich was known as the Hangman and the Butcher of Prague as a result of his brutal tactics. Jason Clarke does an amazing job conveying the ruthless methodologies of the infamous SS General. The film also portrays the intricacies of how the Czech rebels successfully carried out their mission. The mission was code named Operation Anthropoid. The film is certainly a great companion piece to the 2016 film Anthropoid.
