The Making of Anthropoid (2016)

The cast and crew of Anthropoid are interviewed in depth about their roles in making the film. The movie is closely based on the WW2 operation by the same name.

The cast and crew discuss how they became apart of the project and the challenges they faced during production. Above all, they were all deeply touched by the true story. The efforts that the crew went to in order to honor the historical aspects of the characters and places are truly mind boggling. This includes creating authentic replica cars and a breathtaking full scale replica of the church interior for the climatic battle. Many scenes were even filmed in the actual places where the events took place in and around Prague. Some of the authentic places used were apartments, forests, and the Gestapo headquarters in 1942. Sean Ellis was the writer, producer, director, and even the cinematographer. As all the cast and crew testify, Ellis did an absolutely amazing role in managing the creation of the film.

Anyone who enjoyed the movie will also thoroughly enjoy this behind the scenes production filled with countless interviews.
